inception

just saw inception. it was excellent. that is story telling! years ago i had a dream within a dream and it reminded me so much of this movie.

i was in my hs's baseball field throwing a birthday party and pretty much everyone i knew from my whole life up until that point was there. it was going along until these guys dressed in all black come out of nowhere and started shooting at us so we all ran to get inside my high school. i almost made it inside but one of them shot me in the back and i can still remember how it felt, like someone sucked all the air out of my lungs, like i got the air knocked out of me. so then i somehow end up in a doctor room and i turn around to see this red circle on my back and i ask "did they take the bullet out?" and he's like, you're not going to make it.

ok then i wake up (or so i think) and i go downstairs thinking to myself, wow that such a weird dream, and i go into the kitchen where my mom and sis are. my mom is cooking broccoli and i tell her, mom i had the strangest dream that i got shot, and then she just starts crying as she's cooking.

then i wake up in real life.

i had a dream i was kissing an old crush in a fitting room. he told me he's been wanting to do that for forever. weird.

i had a dream nick jonas and some kid were trying to shoot me and some other people in a deli! how weird! i'll expand more later...

spring weather

The weather has been very nice lately despite all the rain before!
I haven't had any dreams lately. Of course.

In unrelated dream news, last night I saw the wonderful She & Him. Zooey Deschanel was literally jumping up and down on stage and M. Ward was amazing with his guitar and every so often soothing vocals. Their music is warm, playful, and refreshing. Bootleg clip of show below..haha. Check them out!

dreams

i've decided to keep a "dream" diary because i want to write down my dreams before i forget them. also, in all the past dreams i've had, they've all been really scary...so nightmares. i can't remember the last full pleasant dream i've had.

okay here's my last night's dream:

me and a group of people are going to some hotel. but we're made aware we need to fight these scary creatures or somethings in the hotel because they are going to kill us if we don't. then they assigned us "roles." in my dream, i get mad because i know we've all done this fighting before and gone through this whole debacle. weird right? so then they assign me the "role" of the virgin mary and i need to fight the antichrist, the scariest of them all in the hotel. and i get really mad because i've been that role and fought that before, and i'm scared too because i don't want to do it again.

i told my roommate and she told me it reminded her of the new alice in wonderland movie and i thought that was true/weird.

the dream from the night before:
i'm running in this field of grass because these zombies are coming after me and i lay down in a ball and think to myself: "ok this is just a dream, i just need to wake up, i just need to wake up and it'll all be ok"

i don't remember the rest, i just remember waking up and being happy it was just a dream....
